With the changing colors & cooler days, we look forward to enjoying
holidays with family & closing out the year strong. We are thankful for the abundance of opportunities to support our clients & the greater IP community. Appreciating the positive momentum that has driven us all year, we wanted to share some of our fall-good feels with you.

Client Wins: From Edibles to URLs
On our client's behalf, we aided NCSOS & the Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force to pursue THC-laced edibles, concealed in counterfeit packaging bearing some of our favorite candy & cookie trademarks. As awareness is key to enforcement, we also conducted trainings in both NC & SC last month in anticipation & support of local law enforcement's efforts. To learn more, check out the recent news release.

We never tire of the dopamine rush from successful negotiations that secure a desired asset for our clients. Our experience & strategies with anonymous IP acquisitions make the difference, plus no commissions are earned on the sales price (unlike those brokers). Admittedly, there was some extra adrenaline around the office as we completed our highest-dollar IP purchase to date (7-figures)!

INTA Leadership Meeting: Heading for Miami!
Hosted at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, over 1,500 IP professionals are expected at INTA's Leadership Meeting. Attending as a member of the Anticounterfeiting Committee (ACC), Tamara also got a glimpse behind the scenes as part of the Project Team to organize & moderate a panel. It's incredible working with volunteers & INTA staff to experience what goes into these events. Just wow, INTA! The last session or as we might call it, the "grand finale" before closing cocktails, is Innovations & Gamechangers in Brand Protection Strategies. The panel will discuss the new era of intermediary liability online with the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA) & on-ground with US logistics companies, as well as strategies to leverage the USPTO’s Trademark Modernization Act of 2020 (TMA).
If you will be in Miami, e-mail or text Tamara to connect! Hope to see you there!
